Compose a new email
Lavender analyzes your recipient and your message, providing a grade (0-100) reflecting your email's effectiveness. 100 is a perfect email
The screenshot below is a sample cold email I typed to send to the Lavender team asking them to promote the newsletter.
I composed an email and then clicked on the purple email assistant icon in the top right corner, which looks like a test tube. The email assistant evaluated my email and rated it 85 out of 100. You can see the rating in the second image.
After clicking 'apply all fixes'’ the email was rewritten and updated to a 95/100 score. I prefer the new Lavender version, pictured below. Shorter, easier to read, and concise. The AI not only improved the message but also the subject line.
Personalization Insights: Recommendations for tailoring your message to your recipient.
I really like the personalization feature. When I added myself as the recipient, it pulled insights about me from LinkedIn and also relevant company news about my employer, DAT Freight and Analytics. This information allows me to generate a new personalized message based on a desired company trigger event.
Generating a cold email from scratch was surprisingly effortless and productive. All that was required were a few bullet points, and AI took care of the rest.
Tone & Grammar Feedback: Tips on improving clarity, conciseness, and professionalism.
4. Optimize Your Email:
Review Lavender's suggestions and incorporate the ones that resonate with you.
Experiment with different subject lines and personalization
5. Send and Track Your Results:
Hit send with confidence! Lavender tracks your email opens and replies, giving you valuable insights into its performance.
Use these insights to refine your future emails and build a winning formula for personalized outreach.
Bonus Tips:
Utilize the Chrome extension: Lavender offers a Chrome extension for real-time feedback while composing emails within your inbox.
Remember, Lavender is a powerful tool but not a magic bullet. Use its insights to guide your efforts, not replace your own judgment and communication skills. By combining AI with your human touch, you'll craft emails that resonate, connect, and convert like never before.
